Frequently asked questions

Everything golfers ask us before their round in Bali. If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp — we answer in English.

Price and what is included

What is included in the price?

Every price on this site is per player and covers the whole day:

  • Hotel pickup and drop-off
  • Green fee for 18 holes
  • Golf cart
  • A caddie for every player
  • Bottled water and soft drinks
  • Help with your booking and with check-in at the club

There is nothing to pay at the club for any of these.

What is not included?

The caddie tip, club and shoe rental, and food or drinks at the clubhouse. Ask us about any of them and we will add it to your quote before you pay.

Do prices go up in high season?

No. The same price applies all year. We do not add a high season, weekend or public holiday surcharge.

I am travelling alone. Can I still play?

Yes. Solo golfers are welcome on all three courses. A single player pays a small supplement: US$170 at New Kuta Golf, US$140 at Bukit Pandawa, US$150 at Handara — everything above included.

How many players do I need for the group price?

The group price starts at 7 players: US$140 per player at New Kuta Golf, US$110 at Bukit Pandawa and US$110 at Handara.

For larger groups we book consecutive tee times and transport for everyone together. Tell us how many of you there are and we will put it together.

Booking, payment and changes

How do I book?

Send us your course, your date, how many players you are and your hotel — on WhatsApp or through the form on this site. We check the tee time with the club and send you the exact total price. You confirm, pay, and the tee time is yours.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer, the full amount before your round. We send you the account details together with your quote. We do not take card payments and we do not collect cash on the day.

The full rules are on our booking terms page.

What if I have to cancel?

Cancel more than 48 hours before your tee time and you get a full refund. Between 24 and 48 hours you get 50% back. Less than 24 hours before your tee time, or a no-show, is not refunded.

See the booking terms for the detail.

Can I change my date or my course?

Yes, free of charge, as long as a slot is available. Tell us as early as you can and we will check with the club. If you move to a course with a different price, we settle the difference either way.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekends, July and August, and the Christmas and New Year weeks fill up first. Send us your dates as early as you can and we will check what is still open. Short notice is worth asking about too — tee sheets change every day.

On the course

Which course should I choose?

New Kuta Golf — a full championship links course on the Pecatu cliffs, 18 holes, par 72, with the ocean beside you for most of the round. The serious golfer's day out.

Bukit Pandawa Golf — 18 par-3 holes above the sea. Quicker than a full round, kind to a first time on a course, and the best of the three for a sunset tee time.

Handara Golf & Resort — in the mountains at Bedugul, inside an old volcanic crater. Cool air, pine trees, and the famous Bali gate at the entrance. A completely different day from the coast.

Not sure? Tell us who is playing and we will recommend one.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

No. Every one of the three courses rents full sets and golf shoes on site, and we help you pick the right ones. Tell us your height, whether you play right or left handed, and roughly how you play — we reserve a suitable set for you and quote the rental price with your total, so there is no queue and no guessing at the pro shop.

What is the dress code?

All three courses have a dress code and it is enforced. What you need: a collared polo shirt, tailored shorts or trousers, and golf shoes with soft spikes. No denim, no sleeveless tops, no beach shorts, no sandals or trainers with metal spikes.

If something is missing from your suitcase, tell us before the round — shoes can be rented at the club, and we will point you to a shop for the rest.

What happens if it rains?

Bali showers are usually short and play carries on. If the club stops play for the weather, the club's own policy decides what happens next — a rain check for another day, a shortened round, or a refund of the green fee from the club. We stay with you, deal with the club on your behalf and pass on whatever they offer.

I have never played on a course before. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Every player gets their own caddie, who carries the bag, reads the greens and will quietly keep you on the right side of the etiquette. Bukit Pandawa, with its 18 par-3 holes, is the gentlest of the three to start on.

Getting there

Where do you pick me up?

At your hotel. Pickup and drop-off are included in the price from everywhere in south Bali — Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Uluwatu, Pecatu, Ungasan, Bingin, Balangan, Benoa, Tuban, Sanur, Denpasar, Umalas and Kerobokan.

From the Canggu side we add US$10 per car (Canggu, Berawa, Pererenan), and US$15 per car from Seseh, Tanah Lot, Ubud and Tabanan. It is per car, not per player — four of you pay the same as one. The full list is on our booking terms page.

Tell us the name of your hotel and we will confirm the pickup time together with your tee time.

What time do rounds start?

Tee times run through the day. Early morning is the coolest and quietest; late afternoon gives you the sunset over the ocean at New Kuta and Bukit Pandawa. Tell us what you would prefer and we will check the tee sheet.

Do you speak English?

Yes. We answer in English on WhatsApp and by email, and someone from our team is with you from the pickup to the drop-off.

Still have a question?

Ask us on WhatsApp — tell us your dates and we will come back with tee times and the exact price.
